Tiffani Competes in Nautica Malibu Triathlon (September 2011)
To say that new mom Tiffani Thiessen is back in pre-pregnancy shape is an understatement.
Fifteen months after giving birth daughter Harper Renn Smith, the 37-year-old White Collar star was among the competitors at the 2011 Nautica Malibu Triathlon in Malibu on Sunday (September 18).
Before doing the O.5 mile swim, 18 mile bike and 4 mile run, Tiffani tweeted: "Doing the #nauticamalibutri this morning. Team name: seemed like a good idea at the time. Says it all right there. Can we say crazy?"
As for the big winners? Ali Vincent of Biggest Loser fame came in first in the celebrity female division with a time of 2:09:21, and Ryan Sutter of The Bachelorette fame came in first in the celebrity male division with a time of 1:33:04. Also competing in the Celebrity Division were: Ed Helms, Rainn Wilson, Jon Cryer, Mark Paul Gosselaar, Chris Harrison and Natalie Morales, to name a few.
Tiffani did suffer an injury that day — but it wasn't as a result of the triathlon. Later in the evening, she tweeted: "Crazy how I did a triathlon this morning n didn't get hurt but just walked out of an Emmy party n busted ass. Gotta love stilettos."
Funds raised from the event went to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles' Pediatric Cancer Research Program which is dedicated to curing and preventing childhood cancers. The program provides groundbreaking treatments and therapies for children with some of the most serious and life-threatening forms of cancers.
