Jennifer Love Hewitt and Tiffani Thiessen On November 7, Hollywood gathered together to support women and single mothers feeling the heavy impact of the economic downfall at Style network's third annual Give and Get Fete benefiting Dress for Success Worldwide-West. The glamorous event took place on the rooftop of the London West Hollywood hotel where celebrities and guests enjoyed gifting stations and treats by by BCBG MaxAzria, Bobbi Brown cosmetics, Lia Sophia jewelry and more. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tiffani Thiessen, Sarah Rue, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Amy Paffrath, Jenna Ushkowitz and Yeardley Smith all attended and spoke strongly about why they believe an organization like Dress for Success, which helps disadvantaged women achieve self-sufficiency, is essential to our world today.

Dress for Success provides professional attire and a strong network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and society. The organization, which has more than 100 locations in cities throughout the world, has served more than 550,000 women since 1997. I spoke with each of the ladies at the event on the importance of women empowering women and what they would say to a woman in need of a confidence boost!

How important do you think it is that we provide support and encouragement to women who are struggling, especially because of the economic crisis right now?

Tiffani Thiessen — It's so important. With our times right now being really hard for a lot of people, and with Dress for Success, over 70% of the women are single mothers with two and three kids, so I think it's extremely important to help women like that, that really need it. As a woman I know when I put on something that makes me feel good, it's really empowering. It makes you feel like you can conquer the world, and do anything, and feel really confident and I think it's super important. So it's really an amazing thing that they're doing.

What would you say to a woman or a single mother who isn't feeling so confident about herself and just needs that extra boost to go out and thrive in society?

I know being a mother now myself, you gotta look in those kids eyes and really start to feel the love that they have for you. They see you as wonder woman and they see you as super woman and they know that you can go out and do it. Really take that energy from them and know that you can!
